Texas FPV Winter Nationals

The Texas Winter Nationals is a premier FPV race in Central Texas, presented by Sky Ready RC. The race will be held at the Lone Star Aeronuts flying field (Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, TX). This is the race that has it all! This race has something for everyone, beginner and expert!
RACE FORMAT:
The race day will consist of controlled practice, three heads-up qualifying races and triple A-Main events. Your fastest of the three qualifying races will seed you into the main events. Your best two finishes in the triple A-Mains will determine your finishing order for the day. If you do not qualify well enough to make the triple A-Mains, you can still "bump-up" from the lower mains into the triple A-Main events. Finishing first or second in a lower main will bump you into the next highest main event.
Top three from each class will win a custom made trophy from Team Axios. Top three from the Beginner FPV class will also win a 5" Ghost 2 racing frame courtesy of Mode2 FPV.
CASH prizes to the top 3 finishers in the Open FPV class at the end of the race: 1st: $100, 2nd: $80, 3rd: $60
GetFPV has also donated some awesome prizes to the winners of this event. A $100 GetFPV coupon will go to the winner of the Open FPV class and a set of (5) Xilo motors will go to the winner of the Beginner FPV class!!!
Race sponsors include: GetFPV, Lumenier, Mode2 FPV, Hobbywing, Team Axios and Sky Ready RC.
Sky Ready RC will be on hand under the RED TENT with parts and accesories for sale (vtx, antennas, props, cameras, cases, lenses, etc.) if you are in need.
Water will also be provided for all in attendance.
Beat the Boss:
After racing and awards presentation concludes (time permitting), three pilots will have a chance to win $20 in cash by beating Sky Ready RC in a heads-up race. Races will be 1 minute long. If you finish ahead of Sky Ready RC after the time has elapsed, you win $20 instantly! There will be a raffle held for pilots wanting to enter this contest. The three tickets that are picked at random will be the three pilots chosen for this contest. Raffle tickets are available at no charge to any pilot who has signed up for the Texas Winter Nationals.
